Construction Traffic Management Plans

Achieve Your Goals

Construction Traffic Management Plans (CTMPs) are required for planning applications that involve substantial works, such as the demolition of a house or excavation for a basement. Most London Borough's require the submission of a Traffic Management report as part of your application for planning permission.

A Construction Traffic Management Plan details how the construction traffic associated with your development will be managed. Our experience in assessing site set-up and management, including any particularly tricky issues such as listed buildings, narrow streets and Mews buildings with restricted access will ensure that you present a report with your planning application that fully meets the requirements of your council.

ADL has been preparing comprehensive Construction Traffic Management Plans for our clients for over a decade. We have an excellent track record of success and regularly work with a number of high profile building firms.

Each Traffic Management Plan we produce includes:

  • A written report in the format requested by the relevant local authority

  • Site routing plans showing how vehicles will access and leave your site

  • Vehicle tracking plans using AutoTrack

  • Site set-up and layout plans

  • Parking arrangements and required parking bay suspensions

  • Hoarding and scaffolding plans as required.

Each council has a slightly different name for these reports. From a Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP) in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, to a Construction Management Plan (CMP) in Westminster and a Construction Logistics Plan (CLP) in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Whatever the name, ADL Planning can provide you with a first-class report that will meet your particular Council's requirements.

Construction Traffic Management Plans are a different requirement to a Site Construction Management Plan (SCMP). For sites in RBKC, you may require both a CTMP and a SCMP. ADL Planning can prepare both reports for your site. Please get in touch for a quote.
